Wind Turbines

It is considered a given that we need to develop more sources of power if we are going to sustain our current growth based economy. It is understood by some that there is a lot more low hanging fruit to be harvested in conservation and adaptation of energy use practice but if we were to need to build more energy plants, what type of power generator would you want in your neighborhood. The not in my back yard problem is what I am talking about. Wind is an eye sore to some and nuclear terrifies many. coal plants are just plane ugly and generate all sorts of pollution problems. I am personally blessed with a high tension line on my property which even though it does not have a tower on my property, degrades the value. Please share your thoughts. In the comments below.
