Idea For Solar Air Heater

The idea in the video came about as a bit of serendipity. They were hauling some cardboard home and it started acting like an air conditioner.


If one uses coroplast or polycarbonate instead of cardboard, one should be able to produce a 4x8 foot 3000 watt heater. Perhaps there could be a duct system that one mounts on the structure  that the modules would then plug into. One might be able to use computer power supply fans to force the air through it.

Conversely one could spray water on the panels and through evaporation  produce cold air for air conditioning.

It is quite impressive how well the air flows through the cardboard. As you can see by the price of the solar heating units below the video, there is some room to experiment..
