The picture above  is of the working floor of a  living machine waste water treatment facility in Portland's Port Authority Headquarters.. Living machines are waste water treatment systems that  were conceived many years ago. They have been successfully integrated into utility plans in many municipalities. Living machines are not just one solution, instead, they are an integrated design adapted to the particular requirements of the specific location.  Should they be a part of your area?

There are huge amounts of energy to be harvested from waste water. There have been estimates that the energy contained in San Diego's waste water has enough energy stored in it to power most all of  the countries domestic demand.. These systems adapt themselves to local and regional plans. Are these the systems that should be installed or that should be replacing our waste water  infrastructure.
