Algae Oil and Waste Water Remediation
Algae oil is now technology. Major oil companies and the military are working on it and have already tested it in many applications. The military is considering it as a source for it's one fuel concept that would allow them to use use one fuel to power all of their theater operations affording an improvement to fuel handling logistics.
Feed stocks for growing algae can be coal plants, sewage systems and processing plant wastes.
It is considered a fact by many, that algae are one of the original sources of much of our current fossil fuels which in many ways are quite amazing in their ability to store large quantities of readily available btus that can be converted to heat energy relatively easy. This leads one to postulate the possibility that bio-mimicry might well be "the source" for inspiration in advancing the development of "new" means of organizing energy storage and use.
